Workshop ‘Sensorimotor and cognitive training with virtual reality’
We held the fifth workshop of XRehab, namely 'Cureo: Sensorimotor and cognitive training with virtual reality - increasing quality and efficiency for your patients.'
CUREO is a VR hardware and software package developed for patients with neurological disorders, targeting cognitive, sensorimotor, and perceptual impairments.
To work as a therapist with CUREO, a tablet dashboard with extensive customization options is provided. Training can be conducted with or without controllers (motion tracking) as well as with mirror therapy.
The following program was arranged:
4:00 pm: Reception
4:30 pm: Presentation (indication, therapy goals, development of CUREO, clinical evidence, ...)
5:15 pm: Try-out CUREO (as a client and as a therapist)
7:00 pm: Networking moment
